In order to hide closed tickets, actually I created a new project called "Finished tasks" in which I manually move solved or closed tickets. But obviously this is a workaround, not the more logical solution....
Personally I found myself with 2 tickets written in 2 different days, practically equivalent. I forgot that previous day I already wrote a bug on a same topic. Generally in these cases, it seems more logical to delete one of them.
This is more true considering that actually "solved" or "closed" tickets continue to be listed together others, instead of being hidden in a specific repository....
I agree! ;-) My suggestion derived from my experience on Jira tool, that treat these cases with a "link" :-)
Maybe "mutual link" between each similar ticket could be enough, leaving them distinct, but clearly linked at a logical way.
To be more complete, we can consider that generally a ticket receive an initial estimation to be solved and then an effective time worked on.
Should be possible for a developer analyze a ticket, put in an estimation (visible only to developer team members), and then put in worked time highlighting if worked time save or exceed initial estimation. This could be very useful for Project managers in order to estimate revenue of current work.
I agree but I would be more specific and I would like to add a "release date" not only for entire project but also for (optionally) for each ticket. In a real scenario often happens to promise a customer release of a specific task for a specific date, so developers should have this "deadline" for a particular ticket, clearly highlighted.
I was going to add the same note. +1 :-)
Oh... understood! Yes, if design is this, it's clear that is not possible. Anyway, in my opinion actual users managing is a little too rigid. My example:
* Don't knowing Damn bugs, first time I registered myself with my email and password and automatically I became "Account manager"
* You said me that "Account manager" could be only one, but if I'll leave organization? Beacuse of I am the unique "Accoun Manager" and my profile is linked to my personal login and password, there will not be an "Account manager" anymore in the future.
* Again, I don't know why, but I write tickets with nickname "ldetomi" (initial part of my email before @) while another user that I added write with its first name; so, I would like to write tickets as "Luca" too, but in "Profile" section, my name and surname are written and nickname does not change however.
* Currently I have 2 users other than me. First one still continue to appear in "Invitation" section, while other one seems to have accepted invitation. I could think that this means that first one did not receive my invitation yet and not confirmed, but anyway he had already wrote some tickets, so what are differences between two accounts?

I now I am very curious, but I think that this website could mature very soon with lot of feedback and suggestion, sometime inspired by similar tools. :-)
I forget to note not only "assigned to me" selction, but also "version selection" coming back from a ticket details :-)
