New view idea to only focus on what is really necessary

Guillaume Lakano 10 years ago updated by tech 10 years ago 4

I love LeanTesting, but the dashboard is so oldschool.

What I propose is to add a new view, to permit to developers to only see tickets where he need to answer or work.

Developers should have theses columns:

- Waiting customer ( tickets where we waiting a feedback from the customer )

- Answer required ( new ticket or new question / comments from the customer )

- Working tickets ( In progress & confirmed ticket )

So, the developer only focus on the "answer required" column, where he could easily answer, then the ticket go back to "waiting customer" column.

The "Answer required" column should always be empty, if not, it's a priority, to improve the workflow process.

When a ticket is solved, it's moved in the "waiting customer" column.

Customers should have theses columsn:

- Waiting developer ( tickets not yet readed/answered by developer )

- Answer required ( question/comments where the developer waiting a feedback )

- Working tickets ( In progress & confirmed ticket )

IMHO, this way seems to be more useful for developers & customers.

Display Bug# at bottom of bug report view

Harry 10 years ago updated by tech 10 years ago 2

Too often I find myself resolving a bug, and need to reference the Bug# in source code, or other documentation. And i'm at the bottom of the view.

Now but scroll to the top just to access this simple bit of information. would be nice to have this data displayed again in the "Change Status/Assign" label.

Report "suggestions" and "tasks", in Lean :)

Terje Bergli 10 years ago updated by tech 10 years ago 3

I would love to be able to report and tag reports as suggestions or tasks. That would be a nice feature. Sometimes things that are reported are not bug, but rather suggestions for a feature or a task to be dealt with.

"Batch assignment" will hide bugs in bugs list

Luca Detomi 11 years ago updated by tech 11 years ago 3
I had 6 bugs in this project. #6 was assigned to user "davide" entering in its detail and then assigned, but other 5 are assigned to same user via "batch assign" clicking on "gear icon".

As you can see, in top pane is indicated that there are 6 "Confermato" bugs but below I see only one of them. Writing dirtecly others bugs url, I can see them so they correcly are stored in DB.

Add ability to use IP address as domain name when creating a test case

Brian King 10 years ago updated by tech 10 years ago 1

When creating a test case I attempted to set the "domain" to be an IP address to a staging environment and wasn't able to proceed. Apparently it validates against a valid TLD. This doesn't seem to make much sense.

Please fix and/or implement.

Thank you!
