How to have 2 different accounts with 1 single email address

Luca Detomi 8 years ago updated 8 years ago 6

Hi,

I'm using LeanTesting since 2 years for a my personal project.

Now, with some friends I would like to work to a different project, completely not related to my first one and I would like to set up a LeanTesting account for this one.

Currently I was only able to create a new project in my original account, but in this way I see it side by side to other one. Is it possible to have 2 completely separated accounts?

Luca you don't have to create a new account. To achieve what you want, you can simply create another organization. It will have its own projects, its own internal/external users, etc. A user can be a member or account manager of several organizations, presumably if they are involved with different companies.

Thank you tech for suggestion but, I'm sorry, I don't find how to create a different organization with my account. Please, can drive me through this process?

Thanks

I'm sorry Tech,

I really need to set up a new account but I did not receive indications about HOW to apply your solution. I am unable to create a new organization starting from my personal account. Can you drive me through steps?

Thanks

Please Tech.... I really need your help

Hi Luca,

after discussing with the team, it turns out that I was wrong and that you cannot "own" two different organizations, but you can be "Account Manager" of two different organizations.

So what you could do, if your friends/colleagues create their own organization, is they can invite you as Internal user to the new organization and give you "Account Manager" permissions. That would work, and both would appear side by side in your dashboard.

Do you understand what I'm trying to explain?

Thanks,

Simon

Sure, understood. But in this case I can't use in new organization account privileges that I have in my current one for example custom status (I have them because I am an early adopter). am I correct?
