No delete button on component added via CSV

Gary il y a 9 ans mis à jour il y a 8 ans 2

I've added a number of components via CSV upload but I now can't delete these components. It would be nice to have a Delete button next to each component.

Hi Gary,

You cannot delete components that:

a. Have bugs assigned to them

or

b. Have test cases assigned to them.

We do this do that you don't accidentally delete information!

Thanks!

There are a few issues with this:

1. b isn't happening, I have a component called "Projects Window 2" with 1 test case that has a delete button.

2. It isn't obvious as to why there is a delete button on some and not others.

3. There should be delete buttons on all and then you give me a warning/confirmation that I will be deleting test cases and or bugs. Sometimes I want to get rid of things outright. By keeping me from deleting things you are increasing my work load for no benefit to me.

4. There is no visibility in the test plan as to what test cases have bugs associated with them so I can't tell what is safe to delete and what isn't.

On top of that having to load the tests to find out how many there are is a giant pain in the arse. Could you at least have a count of the tests next to each component? Then if I want to see them I have to load them in. At very least when I've first loaded some tests in show the count next to the component so even if I unload then I can still see how many there are.
