Notifications for comments

At our company, we write a lot of comments into the comments section of the bugs. It would be nice, if all developers involved in the project would get to see if there are any unread comments in the bug reports.

This would be best if there would maybe be a small exclamation mark, somewhere by the bug report name in the project view. Or a notification in the notification area, but that would be a bit to unsubtle probably...

what about a way that a person would immediately see if there was any kind of change to a bug report made?

similarly to forums lets say, where you get a colored icon, or bolder title letters, when there is something new in the post....

On a related note, it would be great if we could "Push" notifications to specific users in the Bug Detail page or manage user notifications from the Project Team section of a Project page. It's currently unclear who is being notified and there is no verification that anyone is being notified at all.
