search on bugs should match substrings of words

I don't recognize this problem from before so maybe something happened, but right now the "Search all bugs" feature seems to require a perfect match at word level in order to find something. I propose that it should also be able to match substrings, or that such a feature is added on top of current functionality (e.g. regex search, or allowing wildcards).

Reason:

Example 1: I remember a bug referring to a powerpoint and so I search for "ppt". This failed as the reference was actually to a "pptx" file.

Example 2: I have a vague memory of working on some bug and remember roughly what it was about, but have a very hard time finding it when I am required to be able to make a perfect match of a relevant existing word in the bug.
