Status such as pending should be there
There should be a bug status such as pending or on hold which helps to keep that issue onhold for some releases and then fix it for later releases

This is exactly what the status "Acknowledged" is for.

We are using acknowledge as a status when the client reports the issue and we acknowledge that issue. This is a state we use for assignment of bugs to developer and then they confirm it before putting in progress or resolved.

Availability of "custom status" and "custom type of task" could solve all these problems reported by various users, that are looking for a tool that could be adapted to each different workflow present in every developing team.

Yes! I completely agree. Infact I have used Jira and it gives these kind of customization which can be adapted by the real user. Are you guys planning on something like that?
