We're going to have to monitor this, we have no idea what can be causing this. Our only theory at this point is that somehow your network is blocking Amazon's CDN where the libraries are hosted.

Color is subjective - some will like it, others no. Unless there's an overwhelming number of complaints from users, it's unlikely that we would change it.
